Characterized
by their ciliated head structure, bdelloid rotifers have ganglia, muscles,
photosensitive and tactile sensory organs; structures for crawling, feeding,
and swimming; digestive and secretory organs; and bilateral ovaries. Pictured
here are bdelloids from three of the four families of the class.
